Winter in Vermont

..................................................
Winter is a quiet, enjoyable season. Though in Vermont, it means a lot of snow, which we have certainly had! It has been snowing almost constantly for the past week, and we have spent a large amount of time out shoveling the driveway. We have about 3 feet of snow now, and there is more in the forecast.

Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
--Psalm 51:7

Wow, you all have gotten a lot of snow, Anna! How fun it must be to be out in it! But then, it's probably a lot of work as well, with trying to get out and about as well as to take care of your outdoor chores and all. But it sure is pretty! :)

Although I must admit winter is not one of my favorite seasons, it is definitely beautiful! Shoveling the driveway and carrying wood in through the snow can be a lot of work at times, but it is fun and rewarding, especially when we all work together. We haven't gotten a lot of snow since I put this post together, and we all went out to enjoy the sunshine a bit this afternoon!

We have about this much snow too here in MI.
Do you make maple syrup? I was just wondering because you live in Vermont. We make it.

Thank you for your comment, Hannah! Yes, we do make maple syrup. My mother's father has a sugar bush and house and we have helped him for several years. We plan to make some this spring, too.
