A Taste of Vermont

Here are a few photos from the snowstorm last week. We got over ten inches of snow! It seemed a little more like Vermont than North Carolina to us . . . :)

The two pine trees in our front yard
Our deck and outdoor tables
The partially-shoveled driveway and our snow-covered van

Wow I think you have more snow then we do! It's snowing right now though and I think I heard we might get four more inches.

I heard from a friend that Alaska doesn't have much snow this year. Seems the south is getting it all . . . :)

Hope you enjoy the snow you got!

How beautiful! I guess that much snow is highly unusual for NC, right? It's so pretty! I wish I could come visit. :) So much for global warming, ha!

Yes it is quite unusual, Victoria! I agree with you on global warming - this winter is much colder than the other two we've had in NC and the locals say that we've had a lot of snow. By the way, I'd love to have you come visit even though the snow is all melted now ;)!

OOh, It's fabulous! :)Your trees look great! Did you have any limbs fall? We may have had a few, but nothing major.

I'd agree, Theresa, trees with snow on them are very pretty! I don't think we had any limbs fall from the storm. Our magnolia tree had branches touching the snow, though!
