An Enjoyable Evening

Last evening some friends invited me to go with them to hear their daughter play with the Premiere Strings group in the local youth symphony orchestra. That was a special treat! It was so fun to hear her playing the songs that I have been helping her with for the past weeks. We also stayed and listened to the middle and older groups play. All in all it was a wonderful evening, one that I enjoyed very much. Thank you, W. family!

How neat! I have a friend that plays in the youth Charlotte Symphony, and her sister plays in an orchestra. They both play the Viola. I love that kind of music! :)

Theresa, it would have been interesting to see your friend if this had been the Charlotte Youth Orchestra, but it wasn't :). I would agree - music from the Baroque and Classical periods is my favorite, at least to play on the violin and listen to performed by orchestras!

It was nice, Cassie! Although I enjoy doing things with my family this was next best - this family has become good friends, like a second family in some ways :).

Thank you, and may the Lord bless you, too!
